Clarcorp has been selected for Seljan Company's 2023 Excellent Supplier & Appreciation Award. The award is given to suppliers who have demonstrated on-time deliveries, excellent communication and outstanding service. We are proud of our team for delivering superior service to yet another valued customer, and we look forward to continue growing our relationship with Seljan Company in the future.
Clarcorp is now offering customers a new option to help reduce inventory costs by up to 25 - 30% using our inventory vending machines to automatically dispense products to your teams as they are needed. The coil vending machines operate similar to those you would see dispensing candy bars and chips and offer higher security for more valuable products. Locker machines are a medium security option that enables staff to take a handful of items at a time, rather than one at a time in the coil machine. We also offer combination machines to meet customers' specific needs. The vending machines are available to all Clarcorp customers, but are especially beneficial for our Vendor Managed Inventory customers as yet another great option to increase efficiency and reduce spend.
Clarcorp is proud to have sponsored Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County's 2023 Women Build event at their latest development near our headquarters. It was a wonderful day of giving back to the community to help families obtain affordable homes for their families. Clarcorp's volunteer team leader Angela Weidner was joined for the day by Connie Rose, Wanda Johnson and Sharon Steinhart. Thank you for making us proud Team Clarcorp! You nailed it!
Kyle Clark attended the event and presented Habitat for Humanity with a check for $1,000 from Clarcorp to help support their work in our neighborhood.
The Clarcorp team volunteers and the company's sponsorship are helping to construct two duplex townhomes at the first Habitat Waukesha subdivision in Domenica Park in the Broadway Heights neighborhood at 433 Oakland Avenue in Waukesha. The site will eventually include 16 single-family homes, in addition to the two townhomes currently under construction, providing home ownership to 20 families. The Women Build event lasts for 2 weeks annually and consists only of female teams from area businesses and community organizations.
Clarcorp is proud to announce the recent promotions of two of our staff.

The Midwest Fastener Association (MWFA) recently announced that Sara Walsh is the winner of the annual Richard Piskoty Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Clarcorp Industrial Sales. Sara is the daughter of Bill Walsh of Brighton Best International. She is a sophomore at Villanova University and will use the $4,500 scholarship to continue studying Civil Engineering. Sara has achieved several honors and awards during her school career while maintaining excellent grades. Because of her many high school AP credits she will be able to graduate in three years. She then hopes to obtain her Professional Engineering license and work to design and improve infrastructure. Clarcorp is excited to play a role in Sara's continued achievement and we wish her well in her future career.
Introducing James Saager, our new Warehouse Manager for our Madison branch. James joined us in July 2022 to run the busy Madison warehouse and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team. The Clarcorp team recently joined forces to collect toiletries and household supplies for the Hebron House, the oldest non-profit organization in Waukesha fully dedicated to providing emergency, short-term shelter and long-term housing solutions to individuals and families.
Our collection was overflowing with household cleaning and paper products, as well as toiletries that are always in high demand to assist the homeless residents in the care of Hebron House. We encourage you to consider donating to Hebron House yourself if you would like to help with this cause!
In our summer 2022 employee fundraiser, the Clarcorp team selected Waukesha Food Pantry as our beneficiary and raised $300. The fundraiser was driven by a "$5 Fridays" program where employees who wanted to participate and dress casual on Fridays would donate $5 per week.
The Waukesha Food Pantry is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to providing food to the many Waukesha County residents who go hungry every day, and eventually eliminating hunger from the county. In these times of high inflation, grocery costs are taking a toll on Waukesha area families, and we are very proud of our employees helping to meet that need.
We are happy to introduce the latest members of our outside sales team at Clarcorp, who have transitioned from college interns to full-time sales representatives after graduation in May 2022.
Zachary started working at Clarcorp in 2015 and has continued to work with us while he was obtaining his degree in Corporate Health and Communications at UW-Whitewater. His favorite part of his new sales job is meeting new people every day and building relationships with them.
Jaden has been working at Clarcorp since 2021 while completing his degree in Marketing from St. Norbert College. His favorite part of his new sales job is learning something new every day.
We know our customers will enjoy working with Jaden and Zachary.
Over the summer of 2021, the Clarcorp team held a fundraising campaign in which employees who wanted to participate in Casual Fridays and dress a bit more relaxed before the weekends would donate $5 per week. The team raised a total of $309 which was donated to the ProHealth Cancer Foundation. We also held a lunch celebration for those who participated as part of our commitment to our local community.
